Short answer: Poshmark takes a flat $2.95 on sales under $15, and 20% on sales of $15 or more. There is no listing fee, and the buyer pays shipping separately.

Stand: October 2026. Source: Poshmark FAQs — What are the fees for selling on Poshmark?

The two fee bands

Under $15: flat $2.95 per sale, whatever the exact price.

$15 or more: 20% of the sale price, so you keep 80%.

The single fee covers payment processing and the prepaid shipping-label service for standard packages. There is no separate processing line to add on top.

Worked examples

$40 jacket: 20% x $40.00 = $8.00 fee. You keep $32.00 before your item cost and packaging.

$12 top: flat $2.95 fee. You keep $12.00 - $2.95 = $9.05 before your costs.

$15 dress: 20% x $15.00 = $3.00 fee. You keep $12.00. Compare a $14.99 sale, which pays $2.95 and keeps $12.04 — the band boundary matters on prices near $15.

Formula

If sale price is under $15: fee = $2.95. If sale price is $15 or more: fee = 20% x sale price. Amount kept = sale price - fee.

How it works

Because the fee is charged on the sale price only, a discount or accepted offer lowers the fee base as well as what you keep — always work from the price you actually expect to sell at, not the original listing price. For bundles, work out each order's total the same way, and remember that overweight packages over 5 pounds need a different label arrangement.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Poshmark take from a sale?

For sales under $15, Poshmark takes a flat $2.95. For sales of $15 or more, Poshmark takes 20% and you keep 80%. There is no listing fee.

Is shipping included in the Poshmark fee?

No. The fee is calculated on the sale price. The buyer pays shipping separately at checkout, and Poshmark provides a prepaid label for packages up to 5 pounds.

Why is the fee so painful on cheap items?

Because $2.95 is a large share of a small price. On a $10 sale, $2.95 is 29.5% of the price, leaving $7.05 before your costs. On a $40 sale, 20% leaves $32.00.

Does Poshmark charge a monthly fee?

No. Listing is free and there is no required monthly subscription for standard selling.

What happens on a $15 sale exactly?

A $15 sale falls in the 20% band, so the fee is $3.00 and you keep $12.00. A $14.99 sale would instead pay the flat $2.95, keeping $12.04.
