Poshmark
Poshmark Fee Calculator
Work out Poshmark's cut on a sale and what you keep, including the flat fee on low-price sales and any shipping discount you offer.
The result shows Poshmark's commission on the sale price and what is left for you after that commission and any shipping discount you offered. Your item cost, packaging and any label upgrade for a heavy parcel still come out of the amount you keep, so subtract those separately when you judge profit.
Formula
Poshmark fee = $2.95 on sales under $15, or 20% of the sale price on sales of $15 or more. You keep = sale price − Poshmark fee − shipping discount you offered.
How it works
Enter the price the buyer pays for the item, not including shipping the buyer pays. If you offered a shipping discount to close the sale, enter it too, because that discount comes out of your earnings. The calculator applies the $2.95 flat fee below $15 and the 20% rate at $15 and above, then shows what remains.
Worked example
A $40 sale: the fee is 20% of $40 = $8.00, so you keep $40.00 − $8.00 = $32.00 before your item cost. A $10 sale works differently: the flat fee is $2.95, so you keep $10.00 − $2.95 = $7.05. That is why a $14 sale and a $16 sale feel very different — $14 keeps $11.05 while $16 keeps $12.80.
FAQs
What does Poshmark charge on a sale under $15?
A flat $2.95 commission. There is no percentage fee on those sales, so on a $10 sale you keep $7.05 before your own costs.
What does Poshmark charge on a sale of $15 or more?
A 20% commission on the sale price. On a $40 sale the fee is $8.00 and you keep $32.00 before your own costs.
Does Poshmark charge a listing fee?
No. Listing is free and there is no monthly seller fee; Poshmark only takes its commission when an item sells.
Who pays for shipping on Poshmark?
The buyer pays the shipping charge for the prepaid label on a standard parcel. If your parcel is overweight, the label upgrade comes out of your earnings, so check the weight before you ship.
What is a shipping discount on Poshmark?
A discount you offer the buyer on shipping to help close a sale. It is deducted from your earnings, which is why this calculator subtracts it from what you keep.
