How Our Calculators Are Checked

How every SellerCalc calculator is built and checked before it is published.

1. The formula comes first

Each calculator is built from a written formula shown on its page, not from a hidden guess. If a platform charges a percentage on a total, the page says what that total includes — for example, item price plus buyer-paid shipping.

2. A worked example is recomputed by hand

Every calculator and guide page carries a worked example with real numbers. The example is recomputed step by step, so a reader can follow each line and spot a mistake.

3. Fee rates are dated and sourced

Where a page states a platform fee, it shows a "Stand" date and a link to the platform's own help or fee page. Fee rates are checked against official platform pages, not copied from another calculator site. When a rate cannot be verified from an official source, it is not presented as fact.

4. Estimates, not guarantees

Results are estimates and general information only. A platform may apply a different category rate, a promotion, a store discount, a performance charge or a currency rule that a simple calculator does not cover. Always check the platform's current fee page and your own seller statement before making a decision.

5. Corrections

If a platform changes a fee, or a reader spots an error, the page should be corrected and its "Stand" date updated. You can report an error by email: armanzaheer808@gmail.com.
