Poshmark Offer Profit Calculator

Before you send an Offer to Likers, check what you actually keep after the price cut, Poshmark's fee and any shipping you cover.

—

Profit is what is left after the discounted price has paid Poshmark's fee, the shipping you chose to cover, and your item cost. An offer that looks like a small cut can erase most of your margin, because the fee is charged on the discounted price and the shipping discount comes out of your payout on top.

Formula

Offer price = listing price × (1 − discount). Poshmark fee = $2.95 if the offer price is under $15, otherwise 20% of the offer price. Profit = offer price − fee − shipping you cover − item cost.

How it works

Enter your listing price and the discount you plan to offer, plus any shipping you will cover and your item cost. The calculator warns you if the discount is under 10%, the minimum for an Offer to Likers, and it applies the under-$15 flat fee automatically when a deep discount drops the offer below $15.

Worked example

Listing $60.00 with a 20% discount = $48.00 offer price. Poshmark takes 20% = $9.60. You cover $2.00 of shipping and the item cost $18.00. Profit = $48.00 − $9.60 − $2.00 − $18.00 = $18.40. Without the offer, profit at full price with the same $2.00 shipping covered would have been $60.00 − $12.00 − $2.00 − $18.00 = $28.00, so this offer costs $9.60 of profit to chase the sale.

FAQs

What is the minimum discount for an Offer to Likers?
At least 10% below the listing price, plus a discounted shipping offer. This calculator flags anything under 10% so you do not plan around an offer Poshmark would not accept.

Why does the fee change when my offer drops below $15?
Poshmark charges a flat $2.95 under $15 instead of 20%. A $14.00 offer pays $2.95, while a $15.00 offer pays $3.00 — small offers near the line deserve a second look.

Does covering shipping reduce the fee?
No. The fee is calculated on the offer price, and the shipping you cover is deducted from your payout on top of the fee. Free shipping on an offer is the most expensive combination.

Should I accept a buyer's counter-offer at the same price?
Run it through this calculator first. A buyer offer and your own Offer to Likers land on the same fee math — only the discount and shipping terms differ.

Does Poshmark charge a separate payment processing fee?
No. The single commission covers payment processing and the prepaid label service; the buyer normally pays the standard label cost unless you discount it.
